We are pleased to welcome Upsilon-Xi at Rutgers University-Newark as the 424th Chapter of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity!
These 49 new members were installed on Saturday, February 9th, 2019 in Hoboken, NJ. Worthy Grand Procurator, Justin Hansen was in attendance for the installation of the new Chapter representing the Supreme Executive Committee, along with Director of Alumni Development and Events, Kendall Meyercord, District Grand Master, Brandon Leung, and Alumnus Advisor, Adam Zaher who served as the Ritualist.
The members of the Upsilon-Xi Chapter have already completed over 6,200 hours and have raised almost $29,000 towards our A Greater Cause initiative. This local community service supported many charitable organizations and is a great representation of the core values of Kappa Sigma.
Special thanks to the following Chapters for assisting with the installation Xi-Rho (Stockton University), Rho-Omega (Stevens Institute of Technology), Tau-Omega (Montclair State University), Nu-Iota (Rowan University), Upsilon-Kappa (West Long Branch, NJ), and the Alumni Volunteers in the New Jersey District.

Congratulations to the brothers of the newly installed Chapter and welcome to the Order!
