Family, friends, alumni and current members of the Alpha-Eta Chapter at The George Washington University came together as a community to support a true American hero, Heather Kready, at their ‘Project Valor’ event. After weeks of raising money, and a week filled with awareness and advocacy events about veterans, Alpha-Eta reached their goal of raising $10,000 to buy Mrs. Kready and her family much needed goods and supplies. This is the most money Alpha-Eta has raised during their spring philanthropy event in many years, and it marks a milestone for the chapter’s continued success, growth and development.
Alpha-Eta greatly appreciated the outpouring of support, and would like to thank the sororities on campus for helping in their philanthropic efforts: Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Phi, Alpha Epsilon Phi, Chi Omega, Delta Gamma, Epsilon Sigma Alpha, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Pi Beta Phi, Phi Sigma Sigma, Kappa Delta, Sigma Delta Tau and Sigma Kappa.
Alpha-Eta continues to accept donations for Mrs. Kready and her family on their Project Valor website.
Mrs. Kready shares her story with Brother Joshua Eggler in the video below.
