Lt. Col. Jason Bothwell an Alumni Brother of the Theta-Zeta Chapter at Eastern New Mexico University has recently earned the title of Program Director of the Year for 2016 from the Emergency Medicine Residents’ Association, for his work as Program Director of the Madigan Army Medical Center Emergency Medicine Residency Program.
“To reach milestones like this, it takes a dedicated team. I feel extraordinarily fortunate to work in an organization where we have a disproportionately large number of people willing to volunteer the extra hours to make it special.” Bothwell told the JBLM Northwest Guardian.
Bothwell was selected as the best Program Director in the nation out of 234 Emergency Medicine Residency Programs, leading 36 Residents making it the largest program of its kind in Army Medicine.
Adding to Brother Bothwell’s recent accomplishments, he is also set to be promoted to Colonel.
Much like the Fraternity grooms future leaders, Brother Bothwell’s program will continue to groom future Army Medicine leaders and health care professionals.
