Several weeks ago, the Kappa Sigma Supreme Executive Committee appointed and convened our Brotherhood is Inclusive Task Force. This Task Force undertook a thorough review of every aspect of Kappa Sigma operations to recommend ways to improve Kappa Sigma’s commitment to diversity and inclusiveness. The Task Force was asked to provide their recommendations to the SEC by July 31st.
The Brotherhood is Inclusive Task Force met weekly since late June. They received written comments from Brothers across North America and took testimony from additional members. Today, the Task Force issued its Final Report to the SEC after a unanimous vote.
The SEC is pleased to announce that it has unanimously accepted the report. Beginning with their meeting next week, the SEC will work on how to best execute each recommendation.
We want to share with you this report so you can see the ways Kappa Sigma will enhance our efforts to grow the fraternity in diverse and inclusive ways.
It can be accessed online HERE.
Kappa Sigma has evolved as a Fraternity over the past 150 years. As the SEC works to implement these recommendations, we are confident that Kappa Sigma will continue to grow our diverse Brotherhood and provide even greater support for all our Brothers.
