Kappa Sigma proudly welcomed its Sigma-Phi Chapter to the campus of Campbell University on Saturday, January 11, 2014. The chapter colonized on September 6, 2013, and earned its charter in less than five months after completing all of the necessary requirements of becoming a chartered chapter of Kappa Sigma. These accomplishments include recruiting 56 men, serving more than 1,430 hours for charitable causes and having members active in various student organizations on campus.
The installation banquet was attended by several university officials, including President Dr. Jerry M. Wallace and Vice President of Student Life Dr. Dennis Bazemore. In addition to these university officials, Kappa Sigma Past Worthy Grand Scribe, and current Endowment Fund Trustee, Gregory S. Hunt keynoted the banquet.
The chapter is led by Grand Master Joseph M. Wobbleton, with Brother William J. Price serving as District Grand Master and Brother Clifton R. Bobbitt serving as Alumnus Advisor.
The following chapters aided in the installation of the Sigma-Phi Chapter:

  • Eta Prime (Duke)
  • Alpha-Mu (University of North Carolina)
  • Beta-Upsilon (North Carolina State)
  • Pi-Mu (Methodist University)
  • Mu-Zeta (UNC-Wilmington)
