This past fall the Omicron-Gamma Chapter at Arkansas Tech University took a chance on a not so traditional student going through rush. 70-year-old Gary Fryer met members of the Chapter at a campus involvement fair and told them about his brother Jack (Xi, University of Arkansas, ’74) and other family connections.
THV11- “Luke our president says, ‘Why don’t you go through rush and let us bid you,’ and I said, ‘Wow, that’s the craziest thing I ever heard!”
Brother Fryer wanted the full college experience, and Kappa Sigma makes him feel like he belongs to the University more. Brother Fryer was initiated at Omicron-Gamma on November 20, 2016.
Omicron-Gamma was founded April 9, 2005 and has initiated 221 men in its history.
