Kappa Sigma is proud to announce the Supreme Executive Committee has voted to reestablish the Epsilon-Xi Chapter at the University of Texas at El Paso and this past Saturday, April 13, 2024, they were installed, reclaiming their position as our 145th Chapter. On March 10, 2023, the Epsilon-Xi Colony was kicked off, and over the last year has worked hard to achieve their Chapter. To achieve their charter, just this year, the 40 men of Epsilon-Xi donated nearly 1,200 hours of community service, thousands to charitable causes, and completed multiple workshops over the Code of Conduct, Champion Quest, and time management.
These Brothers were joined by Worthy Grand Master of Ceremonies Isaac E. Lipscomb (Omicron-Zeta, ’10), Assistant Director of Operations Jake A. Brown (Upsilon-Zeta, ’21), and ritual commission member Colton Stewart (Theta-Zeta, ’14) representing the Fraternity.
Representing the District was Assistant District Grand Master Olin Ellsworth (Theta-Zeta, ’07). Epsilon-Xi Alumnus Advisor Chase Sturdevant (Theta-Zeta, ’10), and Pi-Tau Alumnus Advisor Riley Daggett (Theta-Zeta, ’15) were also in attendance. Epsilon-Xi Chapter Alumni including Matthew D. Farley (’92), Charlton L. Archard (’92) and Lance A. Medrano (’86) represented the Chapter. Thank you to all of the Brothers that attended this weekend, including Brother William S. Gardner, II (Theta-Zeta, ’18)
We would also like to thank the Brothers of the following Chapters who attended the Installation as ritual teams:
DELTA-ZETA – (UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO)
THETA-ZETA – (EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY)
PI-TAU – (NEW MEXICO INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY)
Brothers everywhere wish Epsilon-Xi the best as they begin their road to excellence and offer our congratulations!
