Kappa Sigma is proud to announce the Supreme Executive Committee has voted to reestablish the Tau-Lambda Chapter in Providence, Rhode Island and this past Saturday, November 2, 2024, they were reinstalled as our 397th Chapter. On November 2, 2019, the Tau-Lambda Colony in Providence, Rhode Island was kicked off and over the last few years have worked hard to achieve their Chapter. To achieve their charter, just this year, the 41 men of Tau-Lambda donated nearly 1,230 hours of community service, and completed multiple workshops over the Code of Conduct, Champion Quest, and time management.
These Brothers were joined by Assistant Director of Recruitment W. Matthew Griffiths (Theta-Rho ’18), and Ritualist Matthew T. Toplack (Pi-Rho, ’18) representing the Fraternity. District Grand Master Jeffrey R. Cares, CAPT, USN (Ret) (Kappa, ’82) represented the District.
Thank you to all the volunteers and alumni who helped make this installation special, including Assistant Alumnus Advisor Bernard J. Brennan (Xi-Xi, ’00).
We would also like to thank the Brothers of the following Chapters who attended the Installation as ritual teams:
Phi-Beta – Wilbraham, Mass.
Tau-Eta – University of Rhode Island
Beta-Kappa – Durham, N.H.
Brothers everywhere wish Tau-Lambda the best as they begin their road to excellence and offer our congratulations!
