Repeatedly, undergraduates emphasize that the engagement of their alumni is the key factor in their achievements academically, within their Chapter, and throughout life. To put it simply, the experience of being part of Kappa Sigma is greatly enhanced by the participation of alumni volunteers. Whether by taking on roles such as Alumnus Advisor, District Grand Master, or just attending a Chapter’s meetings occasionally, it demonstrates to the undergraduate members the significance of the Fraternity in your life. It also shows your support for their endeavors towards achieving excellence.

How much time does it take?
Kappa Sigma believes that there is an opportunity
for every alumnus to become involved with today’s
undergraduates. Whether you have five hours per
semester or five hours per week, rest assured that
the undergraduate Brothers will benefit from
knowing that you care enough to take an interest in
their success.
What areas of chapter operations are available to work with?
All areas of a Chapter can benefit from alumni involvement. Every Executive Committee officer can benefit from the wisdom and experience that volunteers bring to the Chapter.

iPledge is a revolutionary, new standard that is focused on volunteer and alumnus development. Launched in 2019, iPledge works to provide a road map to ongoing alumnus involvement in Kappa Sigma Fraternity.
Becoming a volunteer starts with the iPledge
Program. Once you sign the iPledge Commitment
Contract and pay your alumni dues, you are ready to become involved as a volunteer with a chapter in your District.
Brothers who sign the iPledge Commitment Contract are pledging themselves to:
- Follow Kappa Sigma on Social Media
- Become a Kappa Sigma Volunteer.
- Pay their Alumni Dues.
- Complete Volunteer Training.
- Attend Conclave / Leadership Conference.
- Become One of Jackson’s Men within 5 years.

college term only, but for life”.
