Sigma-Rho Donates $8,200 to Fallen Officers

The Sigma-Rho Chapter at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville raised a combined $8,200 in cash and prizes during their annual Fallen Heroes Campaign. The money and prizes were split between two  organizations; the Trooper Kyle Deatherage Memorial and the Rodney T. Miller Lakeside Triathlon, both named after officers who lost their lives in the line of duty. The money was raised through raffle ticket sales, t-shirt sales and chapter donations.
The Trooper Kyle Deatherage Memorial provides monetary assistance to families of police officers and first responders killed or injured in the line of duty, and the Rodney T. Miller Lakeside Triathlon provides monetary assistance to low income families who do not have the means to purchase sports-related equipment for their children.
