Dr. Russel L. Wiener Memorial Pledge

On Wednesday, April 8, we laid to rest one of the all-time champions of Kappa Sigma. Dr. Russel L. Wiener dedicated his life to the betterment of our great Order, and without his wisdom and guidance throughout the years, it is safe to say that we would not be where we are today.
Dr. Wiener’s accomplishments within Kappa Sigma are many, and our shining beacon on the hill – our Headquarters Building – was made possible by his leadership. He could always be counted on whenever called upon – no mater the request.
In all his love for our Fraternity, Dr. Wiener had one overriding passion during his time in the Order – our Undergraduate Brothers. He knew that the opportunity for greatness could only be achieved by investing in our young men. And invest he did. He gave generously to the Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund, both with his time and his treasures. His drive to help build our brotherhood from the ground up was a true example of what it means to lead by example.
Brothers, We now have the same opportunity to lead by example. What finer way to honor the legacy that Dr. Wiener leaves behind than by support that which he loved most? For that reason, we are hereby asking that you make a donation today in memory and honor of Dr. Wiener, and to further support his passion and build upon his legacy.
