Overview
The Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund, a 501(C)(3) public foundation seeks to hire two (2) Regional Development Directors to support the fundraising/development efforts.
Position/Title: Regional Development Director
Job Type: Full Time, Salaried

Base Salary Range: $55,000-$65,000 annually commensurate with education and experience, healthcare coverage, bonus eligibility

Reports to: Development Committee, Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund
Position Requirements
A bachelor’s degree is required. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated professional, a team player, and must possess a desire to advance the mission of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. At least five years of sales, fundraising or development experience with progressively increasing responsibility would be considered favorably.
Candidates must have strong telephone and email communication abilities. Candidates must demonstrate: excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work well with alumnus volunteers, students, and colleagues; strong written and verbal communication skills; strong facilitation skills; and problem-solving abilities. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office: experience with Salesforce or similar CRM a plus.
Frequent business travel will be required. Candidates will be given the option of having a home office in a major U.S. metropolitan city or to relocate to Kappa Sigma International Headquarters in Charlottesville, VA.
Job Functions
Secure financial support from individuals, foundations and corporations for Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund fundraising programs; develop and maintain ongoing relationships with major donors; execute a strategy for identifying and cultivating donors for various Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund programs; manage all strategies and activities for donor cultivation, solicitation, and relations; manage non-profit donor database; and develop proposals and reports for all foundation fundraising.
