March 8th, 2018, was definitely one for the books for Beta-Psi. Brothers gathered together to celebrate the 115th anniversary of the founding of the Beta-Psi Chapter at the University of Washington.
The event, which took place at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Bellevue, Washington hosted a diverse group of current undergraduates and multiple generations of successful alumni.

Most notable in attendance was honorary Beta-Psi initiate and current Worthy Grand Procurator, Justin A. Hansen who gave the keynote about disruption and the need to continue to evolve in a changing world as well as beat the competition on campus.

In addition, Brother Harold Carr who was honored in 1999 with a John G Tower award was also in attendance. The award was named after John Tower, U.S. Senator and Past Worthy Grand Master. His love for Kappa Sigma and his success in his career was great to show all who were in attendance.

District Grand Master and 2017 Undergraduate of the Year Award Winner, Tyler Q. Miller also spoke about the continued success of the district and plans to continue growing and winning as a chapter and district.

“It was a great night to celebrate Kappa Sigma. We love getting pushed and we love to win. The alumni in attendance do just that for us.”

During the event, Brothers were given the opportunity to meet new people, alumni were able to see their initiation card for the first time since initiation, enjoy dinner, and immerse themselves with the history of Beta-Psi as the chapter continues to grow and strengthen.
