Brotherhood Lasting A Lifetime
Founding Fathers, alumni and undergraduate Brothers of Delta-Omicron gathered in Missoula from May 5-7 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the chapter’s chartering in 2007 and recognize its individual and group accomplishments over the past decade.
After enjoying a kick-off social event and golf scramble, active and alumni Brothers joined in chapter to install incoming Executive Committee members and conduct a ceremony of passage for graduating seniors.
A 10-Year Anniversary Banquet and Award Ceremony followed that highlighted the accomplishments of the chapter and its members.
Celebrating 10 Years Of Success
Brother Chris Giaratanna (Founding Father, Delta-Omicron ’07), who serves as the Deputy Commissioner of Communications for Kappa Sigma, lauded the chapter for receiving not just the Founders Award for Chapter Excellence (FACE), but also the prestigious Founders Circle Award – the highest honor a chapter can receive.
Brother Greg Cook (Gamma-Theta ’80) provided the keynote address on the values of Kappa Sigma and encouraged the chapter to continue to maintain the high ideals of the Order.
Brother Cook was instrumental in the 2007 chartering of Delta-Omicron as District Grand Master during that time. Undergraduate Brothers were also recognized for recent achievements with chapter awards.
Building For The Future
The weekend culminated with a housing corporation organizational meeting as the Brothers of Delta-Omicron prepare for the next stage of chapter evolution. It was a picture-perfect weekend of fellowship and celebration of chapter accomplishments!
