Kappa Sigma is proud to announce the Supreme Executive Committee has voted to establish the Phi-Delta Chapter at Penn State’s Behrend Campus in Erie, PA and this past Saturday, September 16, 2023, they were installed as our 438th Chapter. On October 19, 2022, the Penn State’s Behrend Colony in Erie, PA was kicked off and over the last year have worked hard to achieve their Chapter. To achieve their charter, just this year, the 43 men of Phi-Delta donated over 1,600 hours of community service, and completed multiple workshops over the Code of Conduct, Champion Quest, and time management.
These Brothers were joined by Worthy Grand Scribe Daniel J. Tierney (Theta-Nu, ’99), Vice-President External Affairs Leo J. Brown IV (Theta-Theta, ’04), Communication and Publication Coordinator Michael J. Malenic (Pi-Rho, ’16) and Ritual Commission Member James T. DelRocini, Jr. (Xi-Rho, ’15) representing the Fraternity. Their DGM Jonah P. Hartswick (Epsilon-Rho, ’13), ADGM Matthew T. Toplack (Pi-Rho, ’18), and AA Michael J. Hoffman (Omicron-Sigma, ’07) represented the District.
Thank you to all the volunteers and alumni who helped make this installation special, including DGM Patrick Corr (Xi-Epsilon, ’97), and the Volunteers from Northern and Southern Ohio who led a ritual team.
We would also like to thank the Brothers of the following Chapters who attended the Installation as ritual teams:
Epsilon-Rho – Kent State University
Theta-Omicron – Muskingum University
Xi-Epsilon – Thiel College
Brothers everywhere wish Phi-Delta the best as they begin their road to excellence and offer our congratulations!
