Kappa Sigma is proud to announce the Supreme Executive Committee has voted to establish the Phi-Eta Chapter the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, N.J. and this past Saturday, December 7, 2024, they were reinstalled as our 441st Chapter. On February 28, 2024, the NJIT Colony at the New Jersey Institute of Technology was kicked off and over the last year has worked hard to achieve their Chapter. To achieve their charter, just this year, the 56 men of Phi-Eta donated nearly 3,942 hours of community service, and completed multiple workshops over the Code of Conduct, Champion Quest, and time management.
These Brothers were joined by Worthy Grand Master Burton R. Trembly (Theta-Zeta, ’98), Assistant Director of Recruitment W. Matthew Griffiths (Theta-Rho ’18), and Ritualist R. Kyle Somers (Xi-Rho, ’17) representing the Fraternity. District Grand Master James T. DelRocini, Jr. (Xi-Rho, ’15) and Assistant District Grand Master Nicholas J. Verschleiser (Tau-Omega, ’19) represented the District.
Thank you to all the volunteers and alumni who helped make this installation special, including Phi-Eta Alumnus Advisor Anthony J. Tudda (Xi-Rho, ’18), Gamma-Upsilon Alumnus Advisor Jamison’ Z. Bandivas (Delta-Psi, ’19), Upsilon-Mu Alumnus Advisor Louis M. Di Meglio (Omicron-Epsilon, ’06), and Phi-Eta Assistant Alumnus Advisor Omar J. Nolasco (Upsilon-Xi, ’19)
