Kappa Sigma is proud to announce the Supreme Executive Committee has voted to establish the Phi-Theta Chapter the in Phoenix, Ariz. and this past Saturday, April 12, 2025, they were installed as our 442nd Chapter. On September 19, 2024, the Grand Canyon Colony was kicked off and over the last year has worked hard to achieve their Chapter. To achieve their charter, just this year, the 64 men of Phi-Theta donated nearly 2,253 hours of community service, and completed multiple workshops over the Code of Conduct, Champion Quest, and time management.

These Brothers were joined by Worthy Grand Master Burton R. Trembly (Theta-Zeta, ’98), Vice-President of External Affairs Leo J. Brown IV. (Theta-Theta, ’04) representing the Fraternity. District Grand Master & Ritualist Michael Scholten (Kappa-Gamma, ’09) represented the District.

Thank you to all the volunteers and alumni who helped make this installation special, including Phi-Theta Alumnus Advisor Paul Pavlich (Rho-Omega, ’12).

We would also like to thank the Brothers of the following Chapters who attended the Installation as ritual teams:

Delta-Zeta – University of New Mexico
Gamma-Rho – University of Arizona
Sigma-Upsilon – University of California, Riverside
Kappa-Gamma – Northern Arizona University

Brothers everywhere wish Phi-Theta the best as they begin their road to excellence and offer our congratulations!
