Kappa Sigma is proud to announce the Supreme Executive Committee has voted to recharter the Beta-Theta Chapter at the Indiana University and this past Saturday, April 15, 2023, they were installed. On February 1,2023, the Beta-Theta Colony was kicked off, rekindling their 100+ year history, and soon became the largest colony in our history. To achieve their charter the 137 men of Beta-Theta donated over 4,030 hours of community service, and completed multiple workshops over the Code of Conduct, Champion Quest, and time management.
These Brothers were joined by Worthy Grand Procurator Burt Trembly (Theta-Zeta ’98), Executive Director Mic Wilson (Beta-Nu ’78), VP of External Affairs Leo Brown (Theta-Theta, ‘04), Assistant Director of Recruitment Nick Hauck (Alpha-Iota ’15), Director of Development Bradley Bailey (Upsilon-Delta ’19), and Ritualist Sawyer Coleman (Rho-Omega ’14) representing the Fraternity. Their DGM Ryan Bosse (Theta-Xi ’15), ADGM Timothy Brinkmeyer (Chi ’08), and Alumni Advisor Stanley Lucas (Beta-Theta ’95) represented the district.
Thank you to all the volunteers and alumni who helped make this installation special, especially the Beta-Theta Alumni Brothers – Christopher S. Lodico (Beta-Theta, Indiana University, ’95), Jeff Ludwig (Beta-Theta, Indiana 1995), Charles Love (Beta-Theta, Indiana 1993), Roland Bydlon (Beta-Mu, Minnesota 1976), Dr. Joseph R. Meek (Beta-Theta, Indiana University, ’83).
We would also like to thank the Brothers of the following Chapters who attended the Installation as ritual teams:
Alpha-Gamma – University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
Alpha-Pi – Wabash College
Upsilon-Upsilon – Illinois State University
Tau-Kappa – Indiana University Southeast
Brothers everywhere wish Beta-Theta the best as they begin their road to excellence and offer our congratulations!
