Brother Jody L. Bailey (Theta-Zeta, Eastern New Mexico University, ‘87) serves as the Champion Question Commissioner this biennium, a critical role dedicated to achieving Stephen Alonzo Jackson’s Dream and aiding undergraduates across North America guide future Kappa Sigmas to our Order. Brother Bailey is a seasoned volunteer, serving in several key roles within the fraternity including, Alumnus Advisor, Chapter Trustee, District Grand Master, Commissioner, and Worthy Grand Scribe from 2005-2009. We were able to sit with Brother Bailey and discuss his time in the Order.
What is your professional title and employer outside of the Order?
“Owner and CEO of HOMESPOT.”
What is your favorite Kappa Sigma event you attended?
“My favorite event was the Grand Conclave in 2019 [in Charlottesville, VA], our 150th Anniversary.”
Why do you volunteer for Kappa Sigma?
“To make a difference for the order and help young members develop.”
What’s the best advice for Kappa Sigma Chapters that you can give?
“Work hand in hand with your alumni, the stronger chapters have great undergraduate-alumni relationships.”
