On Thursday, October 27th, the Nu-Tau Chapter at Stephen F. Austin State University helped sponsor and work the Think Pink breast cancer awareness benefit at the Nacogdoches Expo Center. These brothers put in a solid 12 hours of work helping executive chef Mike Cid and the Nacogdoches Medical Center pull off a 600 person dinner. They successfully served 600 donors in 21 minutes! Praises came to them from all of those who donated, including the CEO of Nacogdoches Medical Center.
Simply pink is a breast cancer awareness event put on every year by Nacogdoches Medical Center hospital. Its a girls night out event with food and wine served by the hospital’s staff of doctors and directors. A live band and fashion show are part of the festivities. Over 500 people show up to raise money and awareness of breast cancer. Keynote speakers include breast cancer survivors, doctors, and the CEO of the hospital. Simply pink perfectly merges fun and entertainment while raising awareness over a serious issue affecting millions of women across the world.
Congratulations to these brothers and thank you for being such fantastic representation of our Order.
