Supreme Executive Committee Statement on Charlottesville

Kappa Sigma is deeply saddened by the events that transpired in Charlottesville, Virginia this past weekend. Please know that our staff and Zeta chapter members at the University of Virginia are safe. The International Headquarters, Zeta Chapter house (McCormick Hall) and 46 East Lawn also are all safe and without any destruction or damage.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the loved ones of the three individuals who lost their lives and the 19 who were injured this past weekend. We stand firm in condemning any acts of violence, hate or bigotry against our fellow man or woman. These unacceptable acts are contrary to our ideals as Americans and the values of Brotherhood we hold so dearly.
