SUNY-Geneseo Colony Opened

The SUNY-Geneseo Colony EC: Matthew Keyes (GT), Daniel Silverstein (GM), John Otruba (GP), Vincent Xiao (GS), and Will Roberts (GMC)

The SUNY-Geneseo colony was opened on Nov. 5, 2013, and had their kickoff event over the weekend. The colony pledged-in 52 men, along with Brothers Dan Silverstein (Delta-Pi, Southern Methodist, ’12) and Xavier Vargas (Omicron-Epsilon, Adelphi, ’11). Brothers Silverstein and Vargas met last year after transferring and began working to to open a colony at Geneseo.
The colony spent the weekend working with Upstate New York & Ontario DGM Brett Warrick (Alpha-Kappa, Cornell, ’98) and AA Jim Gaffney (Kappa-Lambda, Shippensburg University, ’07) to begin their colonization process, and their journey towards becoming a chapter.
The colony’s EC, pictured, was elected as follows: Matthew Keyes (GT), Daniel Silverstein (GM), John Otruba (GP), Vincent Xiao (GS), and Will Roberts (GMC).
