Theta-Zeta Chapter Volunteers at Duke City Marathon

The Theta-Zeta Chapter (Eastern New Mexico University) made the trip from Eastern New Mexico University in Portales to Albuquerque, NM, the weekend of Oct. 18-20 to volunteer at the Duke City Marathon. The members helped with everything from late registration to handing out shirts, to running the DCM Store during Saturday’s “Health Expo.” On race day, the members provided water for runners both on the track and at the finish line, then cleaned up Civic Plaza
The Duke City Marathon in a Boston Marathon qualifier, and is New Mexico’s premier and longest running race.
